Our Mission
Most of us learn bachata as a sequence of moves. We count, we repeat, and after a while our feet run on their own while the song plays somewhere in the background. Bachata Studio exists to close that gap. We want you to stop dancing at the music and start dancing with it, so that a break in the song becomes a break in your body, and a change in energy shows up in how you move.
We believe musicality is not a gift reserved for a lucky few. It is a skill you can build with the right map and enough focused reps. Our job is to give you both.
What Bachata Studio Does
The app gives you three tools that work together.
- Flows. Build a visual map of a song, section by section, so you can see its shape before you dance it. Mark the derecho, the majao, the mambo, the bridge, and the breaks, and watch how the music is put together.
- A figure library. Keep your own collection of moves, or figures, with your own videos attached. It becomes a personal reference you actually recognise, in your own body and your own style.
- Practice games. Drill your timing with games that run to the beat of the music, so the skill you build in practice is the skill you carry onto the dance floor.
Bachata Studio is a tool and a service you use in your browser. It is not an e-book, a course you finish once, or a file you download. It grows with you as you add songs and figures.
Who It Is For
It is for bachata dancers who want more than a bigger bag of moves. If you have ever finished a song and realised you have no idea what it was actually doing, this is for you. Whether you are newer to social dancing or already comfortable on the floor, the goal is the same: match your movement to the song, on purpose, and enjoy it more while you do.
How It Works
Access to Bachata Studio comes in three shapes. There is a free plan with a limited set of features so you can try things out. There is a monthly subscription that renews until you cancel. And there is a one-time lifetime purchase, a single payment for permanent access.
Here is the part that is a little different. We do not set one fixed price for everyone. On our Make an Offer page you propose the price that feels fair to you, in your currency, and we review it. We can approve it as a monthly price or a one-time price, or reply with a message if we cannot make it work. Once an offer is approved, payment is handled securely by Stripe. Bachata Studio is an independent product, built and run from Poland by the same small team behind thetotalfocus.com. We are not a big company, and that is on purpose. It means we can listen closely, move quickly, and keep the app honest and focused on helping you dance better.
Our Support Promise
When you write to us, a real person reads it. We aim to reply to every message within 48 hours, and usually much sooner. If something is broken, confusing, or missing, we want to hear about it, because your feedback is how the app gets better.
